 Course Description:




 This course is designed for students who have not learned Korean before. Students will learn Hangul (the Korean alphabet) and its pronunciation, as well as basic grammar and conversation skills. At the completion of the course, students will be able to introduce themselves, talk about locations, greet others and ask simple questions about everyday activities.

 Course Description:



 

 

 

 This course is designed for students who have learned over 30 hours of Korean or have some knowledge of Korean.  Students will learn Native Korean numbers and Sino Korean numbers, as well as the present tense.  At the completion of Beginners Korean 2, students will be able to carry on real conversations such as making purchases at stores, asking and giving directions, making an appointment, ordering food at a restaurant and other skills.

This is a continuation of Beginning Korean 2. This course aims at developing both fluency and accuracy in communicating in various contexts. Students will learn to buy train tickets, to speak about the frequency, to ask about someone’s health, and to talk about hobbies and trips. Also some useful information regarding Korean culture along with grammatical usages will be given.

 Course Description:



 

 

 

 This is a continuation of Beginning Korean 3. This course emphasizes advanced communicative skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through expanded vocabulary, grammar and sentence structure. It covers various topics such as plans, appointments, asking favors, recommendations, taking taxis, and making reservations. The goal of this course is to equip students with appropriate knowledge about Korean culture as well as Korean proficiency in order to interact with others.
